library.jpgSince 1917, when Bentley first opened its doors as a small school of accounting and finance in downtown Boston, our institution has gradually matured into a world-class business university. Looking to the future, Bentley’s mission remains ambitious as we continue to prepare today’s students to become tomorrow’s globally focused, ethical business leaders.

You can play a key role in strengthening Bentley’s future, while creating a lasting legacy, by arranging a future charitable gift to the university through your financial or estate plans. Types of gifts that qualify for membership in The 1917 Legacy Society include beneficiary designations, bequests, charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts, and more.

Acceptable beneficiary designations include Pay On Death (POD) or Transfer on Death (TOD) assets such as bank or investment accounts, donor advised fund accounts, life insurance policies, retirement plans, and, in some states, real property. The following information may help you in completing your beneficiary designation form(s): Bentley’s legal name is “Bentley University, 175 Forest Street, Waltham, MA 02452,” and its tax ID number is 041081650. To include a gift to Bentley in your will or living trust, please see our suggested bequest language.

In appreciation of your thoughtful commitment, we will be pleased to recognize you as a member of The 1917 Legacy Society. Society members will receive a 1917 Legacy Society lapel pin, will be recognized in occasional publications, and will be invited to special events periodically. To join the Society, for assistance in designing your gift to ensure membership, or for more information, please contact Liz Siladi, director of gift planning, at 781.891.2475 or, or Kris Otto, associate director of gift planning, at 781.891.2586 or
